What is hypoallergenic jewellery?

Hypoallergenic jewellery refers to the jewellery made with materials that do not cause any skin reactions. The hypoallergenic materials/ metals are somewhat inert and will not cause any of the symptoms of an allergic reaction – no itchiness, redness, swelling, or pain. The reason for the non-reactiveness stems from the absence of common allergens such as nickel, brass, copper, and cobalt.
